DEATH FOLLOWS LONG ILLNESS
MRS. ED. L. DEALY PASSED AWAY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING
Was 38 Years of Age and Spent Her Entire Life in Hawarden.—Leaves Husband and One Daughter
Mrs. Ed. L. Dealy passed away at her home in this city at 1:20 Sunday morning following a lingering illness. While Mrs. Dealy had been ill for a long time she had been up and about -some each day until about a week before she passed away. She became critically ill Friday, March 2nd, and grew weaker gradually until death claimed her.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church in this city at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning, requiem high mass being said by Rev. Fr. J. M. Neppel. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery here. The services were largely attended by relatives and friends of the departed. Members of the American Legion Auxiliary attended the services in a body.

Minnie Kathleen Lind, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Lind, was born in this city Oct. 4, 1895, and passed away March 11, 1934, at the age of 38. years, 5 months and 7 days. She received her education in Hawarden, having attended the public schools in this city. Her entire life was spent here with the exception of a year when she was in Chicago. She took a millinery course at Fisk's Millinery Manufacturing Company in Chicago and later was employed in this line at Marshall Field's establishment in the same city. She was united in marriage with Ed. L. Dealy Aug. 16, 1917, and to this union one daughter, Mildred was born, who with her father is left to mourn the loss and guidance of a loving mother and wife.

She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Lind, and one brother, Lawrence Lind of Hawarden. Mrs. Dealy was an ideal home maker. Her thoughts were ever centered about her home and her family and even in her illness she considered the welfare of her loved ones in preference to her own. During her many days of suffering she bore up with great fortitude and her thoughts were of the future. Mrs. Dealy was an exceptionally talented designer and throughout her home were many beautiful and artistic things created by her. Out of town relatives and friends who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Dealy of Yankton, S. D.; Mrs. R. P. Strobel and Mrs. Hugh Wallenberg of Sioux Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Dealy, E. L. Dealy, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Eastlund, Rev. and Mrs. J. J. Davies, Mrs. Willard Greene, Mrs. W. J. Paschke and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Grambruno of Sioux City; Mrs. J. C. Chestnut, Mrs. J. A. Hanley and Mrs. B. E. Ingalls of Huron, S. D., and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Johnson of Akron .
