J. L Dealy Dies
Funeral services for Joseph L. Dealy. 62, former Hawarden resident, who died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital following an illness of several months, were held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Cathedral of the Epiphany. Rev. Msgr. William B. Bauer officiated with burial at Maurice.

Pall bearers were Harry J. Gleason, Thorn Griffin, George V. Vigen and Cletus T. Vanderwicken, all of Sioux City, William T. Mc Donald of Maurice and Ivan Monck ton of Ireton.

Mr. Dealy was born August 22, 1895, at Ireton. After graduating from Hawarden high school, he attended the Wharton school of finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He had been in the real estate and insurance business in Sioux City the last 30 years, Mr. Dealy married Miss Florence Coleman in Sioux City May 12, 1935. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany, of Epiphany council 743, Knights of Columbus, and of the Sioux City and national real estate boards.

Survivors include the widow; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Lynott. and a brother. Dr. D. M. Dealy. both of Sioux City. James McCarthy and Miss Loretta Lynott attended the recitation of the rosary in Sioux City Tuesday night.
