Death: June 12, 1948Laverne Boer, age 17, of Rock Valley was brought to the Hull hospital in a semi-conscious condition Friday, having been hit on the forehead by a baseball the day before.
It was decided to transfer him to a Sioux City hospital Saturday but he passed away in the ambulance enroute.
His parents ar Raymond and Andriana (Groeneweg) Boer. He had two brothers Peter Boer and Harold Boer.
Laverne was buried in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, Iowa.
