Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Boer, 84, a resident here for 60 years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Vander Ploeg funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church.

Reverend J.J. Byker will officiate at both services. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Boer, born January 24, 1876 in the Netherlands, died Sunday afternoon in the Sioux Center Hospital after a brief illness. Her marriage to Peter Boer took place July 13, 1889. He died in 1949.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joe Smeenk of Orange City, and Mrs. Hubert Loverink of Rock Valley; three sons, Herman and Raymond, both of Rock Valley, and John of Alton; a sister, Mrs. Arie Vanden Hoek of Harrison, South Dakota; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
