Mrs. Minnie Boer, 87, of Rock Valley died Monday, June 28 in a hospital at Rock Valley after a long illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the First Christian Reformed, Church in Rock Valley. The Reverend Roger Bultman officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Boer, the former Minnie Moorlag, was born August 1, 1894, at Hull. She married John Boer January 16, 1917, at Rock Valley. He died April 1, 1954.

Survivors include one son, Clarence of Rock Valley; one daughter. Mrs. John (Jurena) Plantage of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one sister, Mrs. Albert Veltkamp of Rock Valley; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
