Relatives received word that John Boer passed away Jan. 22 of a long illness of Hodgkins disease.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Falls with burial In the Rock Valley Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, the former Doris Jansma, and two children. He attended Western Christian High.
