Funeral services for Mrs. Annabelle Dawson, 86, a Hawarden area resident since 1911, who died
at the Panska nursing- home Saturday night, were held at 2 o' clock Tuesday afternoon at the-
Associated church, Rev. John Thorns officiating. Burial was at Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home.

Mrs. Dawson was born December 18, 1870, in Adams county, Iowa, and moved to Ireton as a girl. On March 19, 1890, she married James Dawson of the Hudson, S. D., vicinity where the couple farmed until moving to the Hawarden area. Since 1923 Mrs. Dawson resided in Hawarden. She was the last surviving member of the William Robinson family, well known pioneer family of the Ireton and Hudson communities.

Mrs. Dawson was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Associated Ladies Add, Order of
Eastern Star and the Mothers club of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Fred and Harry, both of Hawarden; a daughter, Mrs. Arine Keith of Whittier, Calif.; four - grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
