L DAVISON DIED IN SIOUX CITY IS BURIED HERE
Lou Davison, a former resilient of Ireton, died at his home in Sioux City Monday following an acute attack of pneumonia. The deceased was stricken with the illness but a few days before his death. The body was brought to Ireton Wednesday for burial in Pleasant View cemetery. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church conducted by Rev. C. W. Tompkins, pastor of the church and a large number of relatives and friends assembled at the church to pay their last respects to the departed.

Louis Franklin Davison was born at Ireton, Iowa, May 13, 1884, and died at his home in Sioux City, Nov. 17, 1930, at the age of 46 years, 6 months and 4 days. His early life was spent at Ireton where for a number of years his parents were engaged in the hotel business. He grew to young manhood here and 11 years ago moved with his family to Sioux City where he since made his home. He was married to Hattie Eggink, October 11, 1914. His father, mother, brother and sister have preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his loss the wife, Mrs. Hattie Davison, a step son, Joe, both of Sioux City, a sister, Mrs. Frank Kline of Marcus, Iowa and a host of friends.
