Mr. Block, the aged father of Mrs. John Remacle of Hospers died last week at the home of his daughter. The remains were brought here to Granville Monday, it being the old family home and there interred beside the form of the beloved helpmeet, who years before his demise preceded him to the better world. The aged gentleman was ninety-two years old and has been for several years a resident of Granville, where he was held in deservedly exalted esteem. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to friends and relatives in the bereavement which is theirs in the closing of a long and useful mortal career. Quite a number of Hospers friends and relatives attended the burial.
