From the Rock Valley Bee, March 23, 1934:

DEATH OF DICK LAMEYER

Dick Lameyer died suddenly of heart failure at his home in Rock Valley last Thursday [March 18]. Mr. Lameyer was in his usual health almost up to the time of his death.

Mr. Lameyer has lived in Rock Valley for the past thirty-two years, making his home with his brother, Ben Lameyer. He was born in Holland August 1st, 1873, where he grew to manhood. He came to this country in 1902, coming directly to Rock Valley where he resided until the time of his death.

He leaves one brother, Ben, of Rock Valley and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Zwaarts and Mrs. Jerry Bloem both living at Madison, S.D. Funeral services were held at the home in Rock Valley Monday afternoon and the remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery.
