Death of Geeska Lameyer

Mrs. Geeske Lameyer passed away at her home in Rock Valley last Wednesday morning, April 22, at the advanced age of eighty-one years, five months and seven days, her death being due to the natural decline of old age.

The subject of this sketch was born in Holland, where she grew to womanhood. She came with her husband and children to this country in 1912, and since that the family has resided here. Her husband died nine years ago.

She leaves to mourn, two sons and two daughters, Ben and Dick, of Rock Valley, and Mrs. Henry Zwaart, of Madison, S.D., and Mrs. Jerry Bloem, of Winfred, S.D., all of whom were present at the funeral of their mother, which was held at the home Friday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. J. H. Geerlings, of the Christian Reformed church of Rock Valley.
