Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, October 17, in the Second Christian Reformed Church for Mrs. Anna Bloemendaal, 75 of Orange City, who passed away Friday afternoon, October 14, in her home in Orange City. Reverend Harlan Roelofs officiated. Burial was made by Van Etten Funeral service in the Orange City cemetery.

Mrs. Gerrit Bloemendaal had been ill after suffering a stroke a year ago and had been hospitalized from time to time.

Mrs. Bloemendaal, nee Anna Noteboom, was born September 28, 1885, and married Gerrit Bloemendaal in March 1904.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Eva (Mrs. Andrew Oordt) and Harriet (Mrs. Gerrit L. Rens), and one son, Arie, all of Orange City, two brothers, Peter Noteboom of Lynden, Washington, Frank Noteboom of Orange City, one sister, Mrs. Ralph Cleveringa of Orange City and nine grandchildren.

Two brothers, Gerrit Noteboom, who passed away in 1957, and Nic Noteboom, who passed away in June, 1960, preceded her in death.
