Death: June 14, 1965Ralph Bloemendaal, 86, passed away Sunday evening at the local hospital after 2 weeks hospitalization.
He was born to Everett and Johanna (Van Ek) Bloemendaal on October 24, 1878 and married Alice Cleveringa February 28, 1905 at Orange City.
Surviving are his widow, 4 daughters and 2 sons: Hilda (Mrs. John De Vries) and Paul Bloemendaal, both of California; Jean (Mrs. C. Ver Hoef) of Sioux Center; Ralph Bloemendaal of Cicero, Illinois; Trixia (Mrs. Casey Dykstra)of Morningside, Sioux City; and Rose (Mrs. Lawrence Dykstra of Maurice. One son, Dr. Edward Bloemendaal, died at Detroit Lakes, Minnesota 12 years ago.
