MRS. RALPH BLOEMENDAAL, SR

Funeral services were held at the Second Christian Reformed Church at Orange City October 1 for Mrs. Ralph Bloemendaal, Sr. , 84, of Orange City, who died September 28 at the Sioux Center hospital. Burial was made in West Lawn cemetery at Orange City.

The former Alice Cleveringa was born November 19, 1883 to Jacob and Hiske (De Vries) Cleveringa, and was married February 28, 1905, at Orange City. Mr. Bloemendaal died in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph of Aurora, Illinois, and Paul of California; four daughters, Mrs. John DeVries of Venice, California, Mrs. Cornelius Dykstra of Sioux City, Mrs. Clarence Ver Hoef of Sioux Center and Mrs. Lawrence Dykstra of Maurice; a sister, Mrs. Henry Roghair of Okaton, South Dakota ; 20 grand children and 11 great grandchildren.
