Henry G. Blankespoor, 74, of Hull died Wednesday, February 11, in a hospital in Rock Valley.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 14, in Hope Christian Reformed Church in Hull, with the Reverend William Van Dyken officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

Blankespoor was born December 25, 1912, in Rock Valley to Gysbert and Hilda (Driesen) Blankespoor.

On December 30,1936, he married Della Brunsting at Hull. The couple farmed between Hull and Boyden until retiring into Hull in 1986.

He was a member of Hope Christian Reformed Church and had served on the consistory.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gilbert of Sioux Falls, Harvey of Holland, Michigan, and Ronald of Grand Rapids, Michigan; three daughters, Marlene Van Roekel of Denver, Hilene Westra of Boyden and Sharon Addink of Sioux Falls; his mother, Hilda Blankespoor of Hull; a brother, the Reverend John Blankespoor of Wyoming, Michigan; two sisters, Henrietta Byker of Hudsonville, Michigan, and Rosella Wassink of Sioux Center, and 14 grandchildren.
