Elizabeth Mary Hunt Lyons,84, of Longmont, CO. passed away on Oct. 24, in Northglenn, CO.
She was born July 26, 1899 in Ponca City, OK. the daughter of Frederick and Mary Magdalena Panther Hunt. The family moved to Granville in 1909. She married Charles S. Lyons of Alton on Nov. 20, 1922 in Larchwood. Mr. Lyons who had learned the butcher trade earlier from Lorrie Bamberg, a well-known Alton butcher, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in both World Wars. He died Oct. 9, 1975.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents, were two brothers, Leon Valentine Hunt of Morton, MN, and Anthony "Tony" Frederick Hunt of Granville and three sisters, infant Francisca Hunt, Rose Barbara Hunt Loutsch of Le Mars and Josephine Hunt Hemman of Fulda, MN.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Lyons Okins of Redwood Falls, MN, and Dorothy Mae Lyons Palmer of Longmont, CO. one brother, John Joseph Hunt of Olivia, MN. two sisters, Cecilia Amelia Hunt Chicoine of Salix, and Regina Sophia Hunt Croat of Granville; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Following the mass of Christian burial on Oct. 28, interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont, CO.
