Eva Rosanna Croatt, 97, of Hospers died Wednesday, April 19, at Oak Park Care Center in Sheldon. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hospers with the Rev. Jim Tigges officiating. Burial was at St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Mrs. Croatt was born June 19, 1902, in Madison, Minnesota, the daughter of Matthias and Anna (Heinen) Kemen. She graduated from high school. She married Louis Croatt on September 13,1922, in Madison. The couple farmed near Hospers for 43 years. They retired and moved into Hospers in 1965. He died January 8, 1979. She entered Oak Park Care Center in 1997. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Dolores and her husband Erv Eicher of Bloomington, .Minnesota, and
Mary Croatt of Sioux City; three sons, Gerald and his wife Rosella of Hospers, Arnold of Aitkin, Minnesota, and David and his wife Jane of Sibley; two sons-in-law, Tom Holevas of Brighton, Minnesota,and Gerald Klein of Hospers; 30 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Van Boxtel of Elcajon, California, and Francis Pohlen of Denver.
