Louis Peter Croatt, 80, Hospers, died Monday in Dunedin, Fla, after a brief illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hospers. The Rev. Eugene Ceperley will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen. The rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Anthony Parish Hall.

Mr. Croatt was born Oct. 7, 1898, in Hospers. He married Eva Kemen Sept. 13, 1922, in Madison, Minn. He was a lifelong area resident and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Sheldon and the Holy Name Society in Hospers.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Gerald of Hospers, Arnold of Aitkin, Minn., and David of Sibley; three daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Delores) Eicher of Bloomington, Minn., Mrs. Margaret Klein of Hospers and Miss Mary Croatt of Des Moines; two brothers, Ed of Madison and Leo of Belguim, Wis.; three sisters, Philomena Plathe of Madison, Frances Pohlen of Alton and Betty Van Boxtel of Delmar, Calif.; 30 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
