Mr. Eugene Coyer died in the Hudson Hospital on the evening of Jan 2 about 8:30. He died at the age of 83 years 10 months and 4 days. He leaves to mourn his passing three children Almond Coyer of Fairview, Theresa Flickner of Sanborn, and Earl Coyer of Hudson, also eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death in October of 1939 and also sons Otto and Dallas and one infant daughter. Mr. Coyer was making his home at Earnest Coyer.

Funeral services took place on Tuesday Jan. 6, from the home of Ernest Coyer at Hudson. Interment was made at the cemetery four Inwood, Iowa
