MRS. E. E. COYER DIED SUNDAY
Was 76 Years Old and Had Resided in Sioux Township 50 Years. Mrs. E. E. Coyer, a resident of Sioux Township for fifty years, passed away at; her home unexpectedly Sunday morning from a heart attack. She bad been in the Sioux Valley hospital in Sioux Falls for two weeks and returned home last Friday apparently on the way to recovery but was stricken suddenly Sunday.

Funeral services were held at the home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Ralph Baker of the Methodist church of Inwood in charge. Interment was in the Sioux township cemetery.

Julia Ann Iverson, daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. Ole Iverson, was horn in Grant county, Wis., October 2, 1863, and passed away November 19, 1939, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 17 days. She was united, in marriage with E. E. Coyer at Livingston, Wis., November 16, 1887. They came to Sioux county 50 years ago and since then her home- has been here. Two years ago Mr. and Mrs. Coyer observed their golden wedding. To this union were born six children, two of whom preceded her in death. The children who survive are Otto, Almon and Earl Coyer and Mrs. Orve Flickner, all of Sioux township. There are also eight grandchildren.
