Death Follows Long Illness
Word has been received here of the death of Bertha Cleveringa, 17-yearold daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cleveringa of Orange City, former residents of this vicinity, early Sunday morning. Bertha Cleveringa was born April 20,1914, at the family farm on which the John Medima family now resides. Frail from birth, she was denied the privileges of common childhood.

In the spring of 1920 she moved with her parents to Orange City where she has since resided. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Christian Reformed church at Orange City, Rev. Hilkema officiating. Besides her grief stricken parents, she is survived by one sister, Hester, who teaches at
Edgerton, Minn.
