Karol Ann Clemens
Karol Ann Clemens, 31, of Sibley died September 6 of injuries suffered in a car-truck accident near Rockwell City. Services were at the Christian Reformed Church in Sibley on September 10, the Rev. Daniel Sarkipato officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens in Sioux Center on
September 9.

The deceased is the former Karol Ann Sucher, born December 1, 1954 in Warren, Minnesota. She was raised in Warren, Benson and Lanesboro, Minnesota, graduating from Oak Grove High School in Fargo, North Dakota. She attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Waldorf College in Forest City, receiving a master of arts degree from the University of Iowa. She married James Clemens on December 18, 1976, in Lanesboro. The couple lived in Iowa City and Des Moines and moved to Sibley in 1984.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Paul; and a daughter, Rachel, both at home in Sibley; her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Melvin Sucher, of Story City; a brother, Tim Sucher, of Ottertail, Minnesota; three sisters, Mariam Hatlevig, of Dent, Minnesota, Mary Beth Royer, of Winnebago, Minnesota,and Kathy Thunselle, of Casper, Wyoming; and her parents-in- law, Herman and Phyllis Clemens,
of Sioux Center.
