Mrs. J. R. Claxton was over from Sheldon last Friday inspecting the new monument placed on the Claxton lot in Hope cemetery.

(In the 1910 census found John R. Claxton age 55 born about 1855 England living in Doon Iowa married to Sarah E. Claxton born abt 1853 , he ran a restaurant. In 1900 John Claxton born Sep 1950 England was living in Doon IA married to Sarah E. Claxton born Aug 1853 Canada.
