Mrs. Egbert Kragt Funeral Service Saturday June 25

Funeral services for Mrs. Egbert Kragt who died Thursday morning after two months illness were held Saturday afternoon from the home and the First Reformed Church. Interment was in Hope cemetery The Rev. Nicholas Rozeboom officiated, assisted by Rev. A. A. Dykstra. Mrs. Kragt was born Hattie Bronkhorst, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bronkhorst, on November 29, in 1875. She was one of seven children, of whom only 1 survives. March 6, 1904 Hattie, Bronkhorst married Egbert Kragt. They lived in the vicinity of Hull. On March 27, 1943 her husband preceded her in death after suffering a heart attack .
She is survived by five children, John of Rock Valley, Mrs. Bert De Zeeuw (Katie) of Hull, Ben of Sheldon, Mrs. Ronald Ver Steeg (Tillie) of Rock Rapids, Edward of Hull, twenty grand children and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Preston Kragt, Harvey Kragt, Robert De Zeeuw, Bernard Ver Steeg, Kenneth Ver Steeg and Clifford Kragt.
