Mrs, E. Auchstetter Mrs. Elizabeth Auchstetter passed away ai 7 o'clock Tuesday morning at Doornink's hospital at Orange City, following a ten day illness, at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 13 days.

Elizabeth Keup was born near Princeton, IL. Dec. 11, 1866. When yet a child she moved with her parents to Tama, Iowa where she grew to woman hood. Sept. 4, 1889 s h e was married to John Auchstetter and they begun housekeeping on the farm south east of Hospers, where she made her home ever since, residing with her son Lawrence and family since the death of her husband on Dec 15, 1927. Mrs. Auchstetter was the mother of eight children, as follows: Mary, Mrs. Edward Croatt, Elmer and George, all of Madison, MN; Louis who died in infancy; Anthony of Granville, Lawrence and Charles of Hospers and Rose, Mrs. Ray Ahlers who passed away on Jan. 4, 19-
40.

She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, two brothers, George and William Keup and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Kendrick and Mrs. Anna Campbell, all of Tama, Iowa. Deceased was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic church where services were held Friday morning at 9:30, Rev. John Thoennisen celebrating the Reguiem High Mass. Interment was in St. Anthony’s cemetery.
