Funeral services for Harry Lee Baker, 80, were scheduled for today (Thursday, August 21) at 2:00 P.M. at the Dow Funeral Home with the Doctor G.S. Bruland officiating. Mrs. Don Hummel was the organist, and Mrs. Pete Schemmer sang “In the Garden” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.”

Casket bearers were Lee Keehn, Verne Mallette, Harley Whittington, Dick Hulleman, Harry Hodoway, and Clarence Anderson. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

Mr. Baker, who died August 18in a Hawarden nursing home, was born January16, 1889, at Hawarden. He married Etta Glover on July 5, 1918. His wife preceded him in death in 1940. He was retired implement dealer.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Emil Anderson of Hawarden, Mrs. C.S. McCarty of Muscatine, Iowa, Mrs. W.H. Heermann of Great Falls, Montana, and Mrs. W.W. Sporrer of Yorba Linda, California,
