OBITUARY

Henry Wm. Dodenhof, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Dodenhof, was born on the 25th day of August 1872 at Lowden, Iowa. In1889 he came to Lyon county, north of Hull, and remained here until about a year ago when he left for Minnesota. For some time past his health has been failing. On Thursday he was taken to a hospital in Sioux Falls and Friday, June 27th, he was operated on for a bowel infection. He passed away during the operation.

His age was 57 years, 10 months and 2 days. He is mourned by two sisters: Mrs. Anna Gadke and Mrs. Mary Gadke of Pharr, Texas. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Goeringen from the Lutheran church northeast of Hull, Monday, June 30th.
