Marlin Peterson, 57, of Sioux City, formerly of Hawarden, died Tuesday June 14, 1994, at the St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City. Funeral services were held Friday at the Porter-Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden with the Rev. Paul Hansen officiating. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden. Visitation was Friday at the funeral home.

Marlin was born October 24, 1936 in Forest City, the son of Clarence and Eva Marie (Hartwig) Peterson. He married Linda Busch in Sioux City. He was employed for several years at Otis Radio in Hawarden. For the past 15 years, due to his health, he has lived m nursing homes in Hawarden and later in Sioux City.

Survivors include a son, Mark of Colorado; a daughter, Peggy Peterson of Colorado; and a sister, Darlene Burbach of Orlando, FL.
