Harry Jager, Jr., 69, passed away Friday, January 7, 1994, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, Bremerton, WA. Services were held Wednesday, January 12, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bremerton.

Mr. Jager was born April 23, 1925, in Hawarden, the son of Harry Jager Sr. and Willa (Richardson) Jager. He married Ester Anne Lund in Astoria, OR, on June 2, 1946. They moved to Bremerton in 1961 where he worked at Puget Sound Naval Station for 21 years, retiring in 1982. He also worked for Kitsap County Transit as a bus driver. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Emmanuel
Lutheran Church and enjoyed photography and bowling.

He is survived by his wife; a son, John and his wife, Laura of Bremerton, two daughters, Patricia Peterson and her husband Chuck of Port Orchard, WA, and Julie of Marysville, WA. Five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; three brothers, James of Hazel Green, AL; Ron of Rock Valley; and Robert of Hawarden; and four sisters. Geneva Tucker of Akron; Lois Plueger of Rock Valley; and Mary Marienau and Ruth Benda of Hawarden. Memorials have been established in his name at Emmanuel Lutheran Church and with the Cancer Society.
