Siebert Haverhals Siebert P. Haverhals, 73, of Hudsonville, MI, formerly of Sioux Center, died Sunday in Hudsonville. Services were held Friday, December 10, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center with burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Sioux Center. Visitation was Thursday, December 9, with the family present in the evening, at Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center.

Mr. Haverhals was born August 29, 1920, on a farm west of Sioux Center] the son of Peter and Gertrude (Kooi ) Haverhals. He married Fannie Boogerd December 1, 1943. The couple, lived on a farm west of Lebanon until June 1944 when a tornado destroyed it. They lived elsewhere until 1969 when they moved to Sioux Center. In 1986 they moved to Hudsonville.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Gerald and his wife, Thelma, of Wyoming, MI; Bernard of Keen, Ontario, Can.; Harvard and his wife, Ruth, of Jenison, MI; and Verna of Grand Rapids, MI; six grandchildren; six sisters, Ann Dekkers, Grace Dekkers, Gertie Bonnema, Rena Dragstra, Jean Boeve, and Adelene Haverhals; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made in Mr. Haverhals' name to the Back to God Hour.
