Rachel M. Strong, age 84 of Cheboygan, MI, died Monday, June 7 1993. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, at the Porter Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden. Pastor Karla Kirkeby will be officiating.

Born in 1909 in Alton, Rachel moved to Hawarden at the age of five. She married Charles E. Strong
December 29, 1927. They lived in Hawarden many years before moving to Detroit.

Survivors include one son, Robert C. Strong of Tower, MI; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Clebeth Swanson of Hawarden. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Pearson Kellerman.
