Eva Friedrich, 83, Hawarden, died Saturday, December 23, 1989 in a hospital in Hawardcn. Funeral services were Wednesday December 28, 1989 at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Jasper, MN, with the Rev. Peter Sestak officiating.

Mrs. Friedrich, the former Eva Frank, was born to Willis and Frances (Marshall) Frank, on December 26, 1905, in Hawarden. In the early 1920's, she moved, with her family, to Jasper, MN, where she graduated from Jasper High School. Eva then worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Clarence Perrizo, D.D.S. for 27 years. In November of 1952, she was united in marriage to Otto Friedrich and following their marriage, they made their home in Jasper. Otto died in July, 1975. Following his death, Eva continued to live in Jasper until a year ago when she moved to Hawarden. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Ladies Aid and a member of Eastern Star and was also a member of several community ladies clubs.

She is survived by her step-children, Mary, Mrs. Jim Mitchell, of Jasper, MN, and Robert Friedrich, of Mission Viejo, CA; three sisters, Viola Frank, of Hawarden, Bethel Carr, of San Diego, CA, and Frances Zeig, of Le Mars; one brother, Willis Frank, of Hawarden; a sister-in-law, Elsie Berdan, of Whittier, GA; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and one nephew.
