Services For Former Resident Held In Sioux Falls

Mrs. Lillian Johns, a former Rock Valley resident, died last week Thursday at Sioux Falls, S.D. Lillian Johns, daughter of Ralph and Ruie Kurvink was born near Rock Valley on February 11, 1908, and lived in this community until she was ten years of age. She moved with her family to Alvord and later to Inwood. In 1920 she moved to Sioux Falls and lived there until her death. She leaves to mourn her death two sisters in this vicinity, Mrs. Ernest Winter and Mrs. Gerben O. De Vries. She was a niece of the late Clarence (Brig) Bellesfield. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 5, at Sioux Falls.
