Winifred DeRaad, 82, died Sunday, April 9, in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Services were Wednesday, April 12 in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Arnold Brown and Dean Swenson officiating: Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in Ireton.

Miss DeRaad was born September 9, 1906, near Ireton, the daughter of William and Anna (Muelenburg) DeRaad. She had been a Sioux City resident since 1976.

Survivors include two sisters, Grace and Irene DeRaad, both or Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Mrs.'Alvin DeRaad, of Garretson, SD; and three nephews, Ralph DeRaad, of Garretson, Duane De- Raad, of Iowa City, and Robert DeRaad, of Denver. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gertrude, Josephine and Arminta DeRaad, and a brother, Alvin DeRaad.
