L. Milton Vander Stowe, 70, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, October IS, 1988, in a Denver, CO, hospital. Services were held in Golden, CO, Tuesday, October 18 with burial in the
Golden Cemetery. Milton Vander Stowe was born July 24, 1918 at Hull. He married Pauline Hopkins, of Whiting, on March 18, 1943. Before moving to Golden, CO in 1958, he was associated with Security Bank, in Sioux City. In 1980, he retired from the First Interstate Bank in Golden where he had served as Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Board.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob. Survivors include his wife, Pauline; a son, Bruce J.; two daughters, Paula Jean and Mrs. Kenneth Lichtenstein (Karen Jane); two grandchildren, Julie and Daniel Linchtenstein, his,mother, Jennie Vander Stowe, of Alcester, a sister, Betty, Mrs. B. N. Brown, of Hawarden, a brother, Jack Vander Stowe, of Des Moines and several nieces and nephews.
