Michel Peterson, Jr., 21, of Hawarden died Wednesday, October 19,1988 at his residence in Hawarden. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 1988 in the American Lutheran Church, in Hawarden. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Peterson, the son of Mike and Judi Craven Peterson, was born on December 2, 1966, at Sisseton, SD. He attended West Sioux Community School at Hawarden. He was active in wrestling, football and baseball during his four years in high school. He had made his home in Hawarden for the past twelve years.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Judi Peterson, of Hawarden; two brothers, Dennis, of Gary, IN and David, of San Diego, CA; his grandmother, Gladys Craven, of Boone; other relatives and many friends. Active casket bearers were: Darin De Bruin, Todd De Boer, Jeff Klemme, Jim Heuer, Kevin Lorenzen and Doug De Zeeuw. Honorary casket bearers were: Dean Bolluyt, Richard Renken, Rod Earleywine, Jerry Bradley, Charles Renken and Gary Fox.
