lla E. Kemner, 73, of Hawarden died Tuesday, May 17, 1988 in a hospital in Sioux Falls.
Services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, 1988 in the American Lutheran Church in-Hawarden. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Rodney Martin, Dennis Martin, Douglas Martin, Vaughn Kemner, Steve Bolluyt, Cory Driver, Terry Martin, John Schuller and Tim Moothart.

lla E. Kemner, the daughter of Alfred (Curly) and Emma Farnsworth Nelson, was born on March 2, 1915 at Sheldon, and died at Sioux Falls, on May 17,1988 at the age of 73 years. She attended school at Sheldon and on February 2, 1936 she was united in marriage to Louis J. Kemner at Sheldon, After their marriage, she made her home on a farm near Hawarden and lived there until moving into Hawarden in January, 1974. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dean (Carol) Bolluyt and Mrs. Mike (Geraldine) Day, both of Hawarden and Mrs. John (Linda) Higgins, of CO; one son, Stan, of Hawarden; two brothers,
Robert Nelson, of Pueblo, CO and Henry Nelson, of New Salisbury, IN; five sisters, Lois Severns, of Sheldon, Irene Keizer, of Bremerton, Ml, Cray Goldsmith, of Peming, NM, Arlene Graham, of Elturia, CA, and Nina Rounds Smith, of North Glenn, CO. Thirteen grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 19,1975
