Josephine Weidenfeller, 94, of Akron, died Thursday, March 17, in the Akron Care Center after a brief illness. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 19, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron with the Rev. Timothy Shott officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Akron.

Miss Weidenfeller was born Jan. 15, 1894, in Hawarden. She moved to the Akron area with her parents at the age of three. She worked at the Weidenfeller Meat Market and also for several
years at Rohrers, Silkebakken and Dudley Dry Goods and grocery stores. She worked for 13 years at the Akron Creamery.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Garvis, of Jefferson, S.D., and Mrs. Hector (Mary) Harnois, of Vermillion, S.D.
