Amelia "Gyrl" Eide, 81, of Chatsworth died Saturday, March 26, 1988, in the Akron Care Center after a short illness. Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, f988 in the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron with the Rev. Timothy Schott officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Eide, the former Amelia Anna "Gyrl" Theis, was born November 12, 1906, in Canova, SD. She married Sidney Eide in 1924 in Sioux City. The couple lived in the Sioux City area for many years before moving to Chatsworth in 1956. She was a bartender in Chatsworth for 32 years. Mr. Eide died in 1969.

Survivors include a son, Gary J. of Pensacola, Ft; a sister, Lyda Young of Mitchell, SD; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
