Eva Mae Searls, 77, of Sioux City, died Thursday, October 29, 1987, after a short illness in Julia's Valley Manor. Services were Monday, November 2, at Christy Morningside Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph A. Wallin, pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Searls, the former Eva Mae Garrett, was born September 22, 1910, in Hawarden. She grew up in
Sioux City and married Homer T. Searls on June 18,1929, in Salem, SD. The couple then moved to Port
Angeles, WA, and lived there until his death on February 25,1976. Mrs. Searls owned and operated
local beauty shops.
