Shirley G. Wurth, 63, of Alton, died Sunday, August 23, 1987, in a Sioux Falls, SD, hospital after a long illness. Memorial services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, in the Reformed Church of Alton. Rev. Raymond Tilstra and Rev. Robert Vander Schaaf officiated. Private family burial was in Nassau Township Cemetery prior to the services under direction of Van Etten- Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City.

Mrs. Wurth, the former Shirley Gebauer, was born April 19, 1924, in Alton. On June 4, 1942, she married Eugene Klein at Wichita Falls, TX. He died August 19, 1965, at Orange City. On August 12, 1967, she married Willard Marra in Alton. He died August 11, 1971, in Orange City. She married Louis Wurth September 16, 1977, in Alton. She was a bookkeeper. Mrs. Wurth was a member of the Reformed Church of Alton.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. James E. (Sandra) Parsons of Mesa, AZ, and Mrs. James (Brenda) Mouw of Iowa Falls; a son, Tim Klein of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Claude (Anne) Bills of Lake San Marcos, CA, and Mrs. Gerald (Jeanette) Weiss of Charlotte, NC; four brothers, Henry of Hawarden, Ralph of Orange City, William Jr. of Alton and Gus of Lakewood, CA, and six grandchildren.
