Died: Nov 1935Mrs. Fred Wierbersch of Le Mars, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter De Jager of Ireton, died at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Le Mars Monday following a three weeks illness from peritonitis. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Le Mars at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon with Reverend F.P. Pfaltzgraff in charge. Burial was made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton. Reverend Clarence Schipper of Ireton was in charge of the services at the grave.
Grace DeJager was born at Maurice September 26, 1907, where she grew up. She received her education in the Maurice and Ireton schools. She was united in marriage with Fred M. Wierbersch at Rock Rapids in March, 1929, and to this union two children, Donna Mae and Fred, were born, both of whom with the father are left to mourn the death of a loving mother and wife. She also leaves to mourn her untimely death her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Kline and Mrs. Irwin Hooks, and eight brothers, Harry DeJager of Sioux Center; Al DeJager of Maurice; Ed DeJager of Le Mars; Andrew of Rock Valley; William and Raymond of Culver, California, and Martin and Elmer DeJager of Ireton.
