Gladys Hemmingson Hodgson, born May 16, 1897, died June 9, 1987, at a nursing home after a long illness. Mrs. Hodgson's first husband, InarHemmingson died many years ago. She was married in later years to John Hodgson, of Hawarden. Mr. Hodgson died November 20, 1972. Mrs. Hodgson then moved near Olympia, KY, to be near her son and family, the K. O. Hemmingsons. Funeral services were at the Richardson Funeral Home of Owingsville, KY, and interment was at the Ezel Cemetery.

Survivors are sons, K. O. of Kentucky, and Joe of Michigan; daughters, Caroline of Georgia, Helen of California, and Elaine of Israel; and several nieces and nephews. K. O. notified Mrs. Clair Pearson of Hawarden, of his mother's death. Clairis a nephew of Mrs. Hodgson.
