Susan McCue of Murdo, South Dakota, four year-old granddaughter of Mrs. Cecelia Treiber of Hawarden, died early Saturday of injuries received in a car-truck collision on Highway 16, three miles east of Murdo Friday about 6:30 P.M.

Susan was riding in a car driven by 16-year-old Rita North of Murdo. Other occupants of the car were Susan’s twin sister, Sandra, who was also injured but is recovering at a hospital, and her 3 year old brother, Mitchell, who was dismissed after his bruises were treated.

Parents of the children are Mr. and Mrs. Don McCue of Murdo. Mr. McCue is a son of Mrs. Cecelia Treiber of Hawarden. The later had gone to Denver to take her grandson, Pat McCue, home after he had spent about a month here with her and returned to attend the funeral of her granddaughter at Murdo Monday morning.
