As a very great surprise came the announcement Monday that during the night Mrs. Ernest E. Willey had suffered a relapse, and that it was not expected that she could live. A hemorrhage had started and she being too week for a second operation, it was announced that the life stream would soon be exhausted if nature did not in some way correct the condition.

She was watched all day Monday, and everything done to relieve the extreme weakness that was taking possession. Those watching by her bedside were aware that she was conscious, and knew them perfectly, but she ultimately weakened into unconsciousness, and passed away, the hour being about three in the morning.

Mrs. Minnie Willey was known as a lady of special graces. She was a sister to Martin, John, and C.F. Nanninga of Beresford, and Fred and Warren Nanninga of Ireton, Mrs. Theodore Pereboom of Wentworth, South Dakota, Mrs. Al Griffith of Maurice, Mrs. M.J. McNally, Mrs. Arthur Cornish, Mrs. Ernest Vander Hamm and Mrs. John Viotho of Ireton. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nanninga Sr., are also living there. She was united in marriage with Ernest Willey some sixteen years ago, and has lived near Beresford ever since. Besides the husband, she is mourned by one daughter, Miss Violet Willey, well known in Beresford.

It seems very untimely from a human standpoint for Mrs. Willey to be called away, for she was greatly needed in her home, and she will be greatly missed by her immediate family and many others.
