Donna Wilson, 64, of Hawarden, died Tuesday, April 22, at a Sioux City Hospital following a brief illness. Services were Friday at American Lutheran Church in Hawarden, with the Reverend Karla Kirkeby officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Akron.

Mrs. Wilson was born on September 22, 1932, in Union County, South Dakota, the daughter of Donald and Gwendolyn (Brewer) McMurray. She married Arnold Wilson on August 26, 1957, in Sioux City.

She was a long-time truck driver. She also owned and operated the Borderline Café in Hawarden, was employed at Coilcraft in Hawarden and was a former emergency medical technician with the Hawarden ambulance. Her husband died on November 17, 1995.

Survivors include three sons, Rick Waterman of Hawarden, Rocky Waterman and his wife, Alice, of Hawarden and Steve Waterman and his wife, Marge, of Sioux Falls; five daughters, Connie and her husband, Denny Logemann, of Lake Crystal, Minnesota, Val and her husband, Judd Schlumbohm, of Hawarden, Wendy Wilson of Britt, Patti Jo and her husband, Jack Noethe, of Britt and Jan and her husband, Ivan Pennings, of Sheldon; six sisters, Peg and her husband, Leon Griffie, of Santa Anna, California; Jan Herbst of South Sioux City, Mettie and her husband, Dan Schreiweis, of Nevada, Missouri; Margaret and her husband, Harold Greenwald, of Ida Grove, Melva and her husband, Alvin Collins, of Lamar, Missouri, and Aldine and her husband, Harold Simmons, of Greenfield, Missouri; two brothers and their wives, Donald and Pearl McMurray of Lamar, Missouri, and Joseph and Connie McMurray of Independence, Missouri; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert; two sisters, Betty and Nadine; and a son, Stuart Waterman.
