De Volksvriend dated January 29, 1879, p. 3, col 2:
During the night between Saturday and Sunday, the widow Heeren died. Her remains were transported on Monday to Forreston, Illinois where she will be interred. Mr. S. Kuyper accompanied the remains. [Translation by J.Smith.]
