Beatrice G. Ramhorst, 76, of Brunsville, died Friday, May 15, 1987, at a Le Mars hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 18, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Ireton. Rev. Nathan Brandt officiated. Burial was in Rest Haven Memory Gardens at Le Mars under direction of Dow Funeral Home in Ireton. Pallbearers were Bob Maurer, Clifford Hepworth, Dennis Stouffer, RonMaurer, Jay Mugge and Bob Eilts.

Mrs. Ramhorst, the former Beatrice Maurer, was born April 5, 1911, at Linn Grove. She was graduated from Rossie High School and from a cosmetology school in Des Moines. She operated a beauty shop in Ireton. She married Henry Ramhorst on June 27, 1935, in Ireton. The couple farmed in the Ireton area. Mr. Ramhorst died December 12, 1968. She moved to Brunsvilleinl969. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and served as a 4-H leader for several years. She was active in the Farm Bureau and the West Sioux School Reorganization Committee. She was an active member of Four Seasons Garden Club, Brunsville Garden Club and the Sioux City China Painters Club. She was a member of the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters, Inc. and the Brunsville City Council.

Survivors include a son, Darrel of Sioux Center; three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Norlene) Morgan of Billings, MT, Mrs. Ken (Gayle) Harskamp of Ida Grove, and Mrs. Ron (LuEva) Halweg of Mitchell, SD; a brother; six sisters; 16 grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild.
