Hawarden Independent after Nov. 29, 2003

Lawrence Wilkison 88, Dallas Texas, died Nov.29,, 2003 at a hospital in Lewisville, Texas. Services were held on Dec 2, 2003 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.

Larry Wilkison graduated from Hawarden High School in 1932. He was a member of the US Army during WWII for three years. On July 2, 1942 he married Doris Robertson of Hawarden, They lived in Indiana and Illinois most of their lives. He worked for 38 years for United Technologies and for 15 years for the Storage Inn. They had moved to Dallas in recent years.

Survivors include his wife Doris; two sons, Greg of Collegeville, Texas and Jeff of Naperville, IL; three grandchildren; sister Veronica (Vee) Heldt; and two sisters in law, Luella Wilkison of Hawarden and Viola Wilkison of Bartlett IL.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
