Born: March 7, 1903 Sioux County, Iowa
Died: October 8, 1963 Sheldon, Iowa

Funeral services were held for Sam Pollema, 60, of Hull, Sat. Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. from the Kraai Funeral Chapel and 1:30 p.m. at the First Reformed Church who passed away Tues.Oct. 8 at a Sheldon hospital, following a stroke.

Rev. Nickolas Rozeboom officiated and burial was made at the Hull Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Pollema was born March 7, 1903.

He married Margaret De Young and to this union were born seven children.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret, five sons, Frank, Peter, Clifford, Jerris and Junior and two daughters, Nelvina and Winifred. Also surviving are three grandchildren, three brothers, Peter of Inwood, William and Sy of Hull, six sisters, Mrs. Jennie Brouwer of Rock Valley, Mrs. Gerrit Van Sloten of Doon, Mrs. Art Schuurman of Madison, MN, Mrs. Herman Vollink of Rock Valley, Mrs. George Vink of Hull and Mrs Arie Steenhoven of George.
